These mystical bracers enhance the bond between an invoker and his spirit companion. Both the invoker and his companion each wear one of the two bracers, taking up the wrist slot for both of them. Other versions exist for exotic spirits that lack “wrists”, but they are rare.
Both the invoker and his companion gain the benefit of a status spell, targeting the other. The range of the spirit’s link ability is doubled. Three times per day, either the invoker or the companion can use a move action to teleport to an open space adjacent to the other; this teleportation has a maximum range of 100 feet. If the invoker uses his avatar class feature, his companion can activate this ability of the covenant bracers as an immediate action, allowing it to teleport to the invoker’s side to initiate the avatar ability.
