Gembound may be placed on any weapon, armor, or shield. This piece of equipment can be absorbed into the gem of a mineralite when they use their projected weapon racial ability. From that point until they take a full round action to remove it from their gem, they may create the weapon, armor, or shield as their projected weapon without risking the original item. This copy is treated as any minor item made by projected weapon, including the item dissipating if broken or removed from their person. While a gembound item is stored in this fashion, the mineralite can not project the item they normally could with this racial trait.
