Duality Weaving (Su):[]
Shapers of duality gain the ability to embrace either the power of light or the power of dark and shape them into powerful magical constructs known as veils. The shaper of duality uses their Wisdom as their veilweaving modifier, and has a veilweaving level equal to their class level. The saving throw DCs of the shaper of duality's veils are equal to 10 + the essence invested in the veil + the shaper of duality’s veilweaving modifier.
At 1st level, the shaper of duality gains access to a pool of essence which can be invested into their veils and other essence receptacles to increase their power. The shaper of duality gains 1 point of essence at each class level.
The shaper of duality can only shape a limited number of veils per day. They can shape 1 veil at 1st level, and gain the ability to shape 1 additional veil each day at 2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 20th level.
When the shaper of duality rests to shape their veils for the day, they choose whether they wish to embrace life and light or darkness and death. If they choose life and light, they draw their veils from the radiant veil list that day. If they choose darkness and death, they draw their veils from the eclipse veil list that day. If they possess a feat or ability that only applies to a single veil, they may instead choose to choose one veil from their radiant veil list and one veil from their eclipse veil list instead. They cannot select a veil on both lists with one of these selections (but can still select it using the ability’s normal selection).
This replaces the soulweaver’s casting, spellpool, and magic talents.
Power of Duality:[]
The shaper of duality uses their Wisdom in place of their Charisma and their casting ability modifier for the purposes of their soul weaver class features. Channeling Duality (Su): If the shaper of duality chooses life and light, they channel positive energy and gains Veil-Woven Channel as a bonus feat that day. If they choose darkness and death, they channel negative every and gain Essence-Bound Channel as a bonus feat that day. They are treated as if they had chosen that type of channel that day for the purposes of their soul weaver class features.
If they already possess either of these feats, they gain the opposite as a permanent bonus feat instead.
This replaces the soulweaver’s master of life and death class feature and modifies the soul weaver’s channel energy class feature.
Blessing/Blight (Su):[]
If the shaper of duality applies the blight ability to a creature, the penalty on saving throws also applies against veils with the Darkness, Death, and Curse descriptors.
This modifies the soul weaver’s blessing/blight class feature, but not for the purposes of archetype compatibility.
Binder of Duality (Su):[]
At 3rd level, and every 3 levels thereafter, the shaper of duality gain the ability to bind veils to their chakra, unlocking potent new abilities. Unlike other veilweavers, the chakra binds a shaper of duality has access to depends on their choice of life and light or darkness and death. The shaper of duality gains the ability to bind slots in the following order depending on their choice: Life and Light: Hands, Head, Headband, Neck, Belt, and Body. Darkness and Death: Hands, Feet, Head, Wrists, Shoulders, and Belt.
Improved Essence Capacity:[]
The shaper of duality’s continuous changes in their bodies' attunement to their states of essence has begun to expand the control they have over their veils. At 3rd, 9th, and 15th level the maximum essence capacity of all of the shaper of duality’s essence receptacles increases by 1.
