Thoughtshaping (Su):[]
Thoughtshaper gain the ability to directly shape the power to alter minds by shaping powerful magical constructs known as veils. Thoughtshapers use either their Charisma as their veilweaving modifier, and has a veilweaving level equal to their class level. The saving throw DCs of the thoughtshaper's veils are equal to 10 + the essence invested in the veil + the thoughtshaper’s veilweaving modifier.
At 1st level, the thoughtshaper gains access to a pool of essence which can be invested into their veils and other essence receptacles to increase their power. The thoughtshaper gains 1 point of essence at each class level. The shaper of duality can only shape a limited number of veils per day. They can shape 2 veils at 1st level, and gain the ability to shape 1 additional veil each day at 2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 20th level.
Unlike other veilweavers, the thoughtshaper does not draw their veil list from any particular class’s veil list. Instead, they treat every veil with the Charm, Compulsion, Emotion, Fear, or Mind-affectng descriptors as their veil list. If one of these veils would be shaped to an obscure chakra (such as Blood or Ring), they gain the ability to shape that veil to that chakra slot. This does not grant them the ability to shape other veils to such a slot. If one of these veils has the Title descriptor, the thoughtshaper may choose to remove the title descriptor from that veil, shaping the veil onto themselves as normal.
This replaces the eliciter’s casting, spell pool, magic talents and enchanter class features.
Persuasive Akasha (Su):[]
The thoughtshaper’s veilweaving has placed a lingering enchantment upon them that improves their empathic abilities and further empowers their veils that affect a creature’s mind. A thoughtshaper gains a +2 insight bonus to the saving throw DC of their veils with the Charm, Compulsion, Emotion, Fear, or Mind-affecting descriptors, and a +2 bonus to their Bluff, Diplomacy, and Intimidate checks. These bonuses increase to +3 at 6th level, +4 at 12th level, and +5 at 18th level.
This modifies the eliciter’s persuasive class feature.
Chakra Binds:[]
At 2nd level, and every two levels thereafter, the thoughtshaper gains the ability to bind veils directly to their chakra, unlocking potent new abilities. The thoughtshaper gains the ability to bind chakra slots in the following order: Hands, Feet, Head, Wrists, Shoulders, Headband, Neck, Belt, Chest, Body.
Improved Essence Capacity:[]
The thoughtshaper’s ability to enhance their veils and themselves with their essence grows in power alongside them. At 3rd, 9th, and 15th level the maximum essence capacity of the thoughtshaper’s essence receptacles increases by 1.
Alien Thoughtweaving (Su):[]
At 5th level, whenever the thoughtshaper would use a mind-affecting or fear effect caused by a veil or one of their eliciter class features on a creature who is immune to mind-affecting effects or fear effects, they may take 1 point of essence burn to instead treat that creature as if they had a +5 bonus to their saving throw against that effect instead. This requires no action cost on the thoughtshaper’s part, and can be done reactively to learning a creature would be immune to their effect. This cost must be spent for each ability used against such a creature.
Obscure Thoughtbinding:[]
At 10th level, the thoughtshaper gains the ability to bind any veils they have shaped using their thoughtshaping ability to obscure chakra slots, such as Blood or Ring. This does not grant the thoughtshaper any abilities a class may gain by being able to bind such a veil, and does not grant them the ability to bind any other veils to those chakra slots.
