Armored With Akasha[]
At 1st level, the veilknight gains the Veilweaving sphere as a bonus magic talent and uses their class level as their caster level with the Veilweaving sphere. This stacks normally with caster levels gained from other sources. If they already have the Veilweaving sphere, they may select a Veilweaving talent of their choice instead.
This replaces the mageknight’s bonus magic talent gained at 1st level and the resist magic class feature.
Chakra Binds[]
At 2nd level, and every 4 levels thereafter, the veilknight gains the ability to bind veils directly to their chakra, unlocking potent abilities. They gain the ability to bind veils to their chakra in the following order: Hands, Wrists, Shoulders, Belt, Neck, Chest.
This replaces the mageknight’s mystic combats gained at 2nd, 10th, and 18th levels.
Knight’s Reallocation (Su)[]
At 2nd level, whenever the veilknight spends a swift or immediate action to use a mageknight class feature or ability, they may invest or reallocate their essence as part of using that ability. They can choose whether you reinvest your essence before or after the ability resolves.
Veilmarked (Su)[]
At 7th level, a veilknight who successfully deals damage to a target using a manufactured or natural weapon granted by a veil or deals damage with the ability of a veil used as a standard action that only targets a single creature, they may leave a magical mark upon that creature as a swift action. The target suffers a -2 penalty to saving throws against the spells, spell-like abilities, sphere abilities, and veils of the veilknight, and the veilknight gains a +2 bonus to saving throws against the spells, spell-like abilities, sphere abilities, and veils of the target. This mark lasts for 1 minute. The veilknight may not have more than 1 mark active at a time; giving a second mark causes the first to be dismissed.
This modifies the mageknight’s marked class feature.
Veil Critical (Su)[]
At 19th level, whenever the veilknight successfully confirms a critical hit, they may use an ability of one of their veils that would normally require a standard or move action as an immediate action. This ability must include the target of the attack as one of its targets, or include that target in its area of effect. The ability of the veil does not provoke attacks of opportunity when used in this way, even if it normally would.
This replaces the mageknight’s spell critical class feature.
